Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic full-time manager for Bar Chinois! We need an individual who has extensive restaurant experience, and loves to manage people. Someone who manages fast paced and high volume extremely efficiently. A manager who will be an exemplary leader and inspire the team to keep elevating. Someone with extreme professionalism and drive, who is passionate about the food and beverage industry, and likes to have a good time!
Responsibilities
- Successfully managing a team of approx. 30-40 employees
- Mastering table management, reservations and requests
- Maintaining budgets
- Handling close-outs and tip-outs - recording all financials in appropriate spreadsheets
- Training staff on service and product - periodical testing and ongoing training
- Upkeeping the restaurant cleanliness, systems and creating new policies. Making sure we are operating in compliance with all rules and regulations
- Scheduling for FOH & BOH - managing requests off - mitigating overtime
- Inventory of supplies and ordering
- Handling all isues and complaints with guests and staff
- Onboarding of new staff
- Working with our bar manager and events manager to put in place events and programs to generate revenue
- Building a relationship with clientele
- Weekly leadership meetings

Requirements
- Must have a ABRA Alcohol License & Food Handler's Safety license.
- Must be over the age of 21.
- Must have 2-3 years prior experience in restaurant management.
- Proficient with OpenTable and Toast.
- Must work well under stress/pressure and demonstrate thorough problem-solving skills.
